Sweep Away Cancer: Learn How You Can Join the Movement
Cancer is a disease that takes so much. It completely swallows a person’s time, hobbies, energy… and it adds a huge financial burden.
Have you or someone you love been affected by cancer? Then, you know the toll it can take as medical bills rack up, time has to be taken off work, and rent and home bills become due… all with insurance covering only a small portion along the way.
We want to offer a way for you to take action and feel empowered in the fight – whether you’re fighting yourself or with someone you know and love.
That’s why we band together to raise awareness and funds for families and those fighting all types of cancer, as well as educate those in our local communities about what they can do to help.
How Can You Help?
It’s our goal here at Sweep Away Cancer to never turn away a person who comes to our organization in need. That said, we can only maintain this if we have support and donations coming in.
So, how can you help?
Donate
One of our most effective ways to give back? Donate a percentage of your company’s proceeds from the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness month)!
Attend An Event
Sweep Away Cancer has a rally, fundraiser dinners, convention booths, and more – all of which we would love to see you at and have you participate in!
Create An Event
Have an idea on how you can raise your own funds? Host an event, and be sure to tell us about it!
Shop
Buy our t-shirts, give them to your team to wear, tell your customers about them, offer them as freebies… There are lots of great apparel items, and we’d love to ship you some soon!
Many companies throughout multiple industries commit to taking a percentage of their profits to donate to Sweep Away Cancer to help our mission. If you choose to do this, share it with your customers so they know that a portion of their service cost or your profits are going towards individuals that are directly impacted or in need!

What Is Sweep Away Cancer?
Sweep Away Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that was founded by Tommy Nelms, Mark Stoner, and Darin Bibeau in September of 2015. These three came together to join forces and raise awareness and funds for individuals affected by all types of cancer by asking those within their industry to get involved.
Since then we have provided aid for countless sweeps, first responders, veterans, and more fighting cancer by helping with financial stressors associated with this life changing disease. Will you join us?
